The Balnaves Foundation is thrilled that the inaugural scholarship recipient for First Nations Programs at NIDA has commenced their studies. Danny, a Bard, Yamatji and Noongar man has travelled from his home on the Dampier Peninsula in WA to Sydney in order to study a Bachelor of Acting. The Foundation is thrilled to be able to support Danny’s dream and look forward to seeing his progress over the course of his studies.
Danny recently caught up with the ABC about his journey to NIDA and his future acting and storytelling dreams. “I want to be able to tell not just my story, but other Indigenous artists’ stories and our stories as a collective around Australia.
